Program

Pikcup (“we,” “us”) sends transactional SMS messages to customers who book appointments through our platform. Messages are sent from a Pikcup toll-free number and are operated by Pikcup, LLC, reachable at trypikcup.com.

Message types & frequency

We send the following message types:

  • One-time verification codes (OTP) — one message per sign-in or booking attempt.
  • Booking confirmations & updates — sent when a booking is confirmed, approved, or cancelled by the salon. Typically 1–3 messages per booking.
  • Last-minute slot alerts — sent when a matching availability opens at a salon you follow or have saved an alert for. Frequency varies based on availability; you control alert preferences in your account.

All messages are triggered by your actions on the platform — either directly (booking, signing in) or based on alert preferences you configure. We do not sell or share your number for third-party marketing.

How you opt in

You opt in by entering your US mobile phone number on trypikcup.com/alerts/new or in the booking flow, and checking an unchecked-by-default SMS consent checkbox. The form submits without a phone number or SMS consent — consent is not required to use the service. The consent language reads:

I consent to receive text messages (SMS) from Pikcup including last-minute slot alerts, booking confirmations, and one-time verification codes. Message frequency varies. Message & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help.

This checkbox is unchecked by default. The form submits successfully without checking it. Consent is not a condition of purchase or service access.

Rates

Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier and plan. Pikcup does not charge for SMS messages.

Opt out

Reply STOP to any message from us to opt out immediately. You will receive a single confirmation and no further messages will be sent. You can also manage notification preferences in your account at trypikcup.com/account/alerts.

Supported carriers

Available on all major US carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and most regional carriers. Carrier support is not guaranteed.

Privacy

Your phone number is used solely for Pikcup messaging as described above. We do not sell or share your number with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
